Dynamic Thermal and Energy Modelling

The Building Regulations 2010 and all levels of the Code for Sustainable Homes require high levels of air tightness and insulation air tightness. Our highly technical team uses modern construction systems, air management and heat recovery systems and recommend good passive low carbon design. Highly insulated and airtight construction can cause building designs to overheat. Further to this, we offer sophisticated thermal modelling to demonstrate that overheating does not become an issue in any new build design, and to confirm the efficiency of our recommended passive measures.

Dynamic and energy modelling are part of the building analysis and procurement process. The modelling is required to be undertaken to meet a range of legislative requirements and client aspirations.

Waldeck can undertake the full range of modelling utilising the latest technologies to provide clients with all the required modelling information to achieve their statutory obligations and their aspirations.
