Indeed, we have produced some fantastic contemporary solutions for architects and our clients utilizing hybrid solutions in timber and stainless steel.

Sustainability considerations provide an important context in selecting timber as a potential structural solution taking into account embodied and lifecycle energy, reversibility and recyclability, although these days timber engineers must pay more attention to fire risk mitigation.

We at Waldeck have a part of our off-site manufacturing team invested in 3D BIM capability to design and detailed timber frame designs for high volume housing and timber frame manufactured solutions, enabling us to produce manufacturing drawings for fabricators and builders who manufacture for themselves too. This system improves accuracy and reduces waste, saving everyone time and money.
