Threadneedle House, Peterborough

Waldeck were commissioned by Unex Group to investigate the feasibility of refurbishing an existing 19th century rail shed, approximately 2000m2 floor area, into office space located in the centre of Peterborough.
The refurbishment works included the installation of a new mezzanine floor throughout the full extent of the building. Waldeck carried out a series of investigation to verify the existing foundations and structure. These works included obtaining historical records from Network Rail, geotechnical site investigations and material testing.
