Long Sutton Earth Sheltered Housing
This scheme is the first of its kind in the country and was featured in the BBC news recently. It has significant renewable energy provision coupled with outstanding thermal mass.
It is partly covered by earth and has fantastic insulative properties to the dwellings. The scheme promoter is Lincolnshire Housing Association who have always championed sustainable design. Many of the features of this project exceed the requirements of code level 6 & true carbon zero.
